Sooo excited. Our first morning went off without a hitch (other than the missing mayo...thanks Scott!) The girls got up, dressed and we all ate breakfast together. May not happen again for the rest of the year, but I'm gonna try to fix breakfast 3 mornings a week.
I am also getting off work at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I am really looking forward to spending the afternoon with the girls, fixing dinner and plowing through 6th grade homework with Carlee.
The girls have "chores" to complete each evening, so maybe the house will get a little better organized. And, cross country practice starts after school next week, so we will get much busier in the days to come. Hoping Maddie can get in some extra roundball practice also.
Hope everyone is having a great first day! And if you don't start back until next week, enjoy your last weekend.
